About AIText2Doc
AIText2Doc turns AI-generated explanations into documents you can actually use: clean headings, real lists, and editable equations that stay readable in Word and PDF.
Why this project exists
AI tools are great at producing explanations, but formatting often collapses when you paste into Word: headings become plain text, lists break, and math turns into unreadable symbols.
- Teachers & students need worksheets that print cleanly.
- Educators need editable equations (not screenshots).
- Everyone wants a fast workflow without installs.
Try the converter on your own content: open the app.
What AIText2Doc does
- Converts Markdown structure (headings, lists, bold) into Word-friendly formatting.
- Detects common LaTeX-style math and exports it as editable Word equations (OMML).
- Shows a preview so you can confirm the result before downloading.
- Exports DOCX for editing and PDF for sharing/printing.

How the converter works (high level)
We keep the workflow simple and predictable:
1) Paste
Paste the AI answer (Markdown + LaTeX). For best results, use the AI tool’s Copy button.
2) Preview
We parse headings/lists and render equations so you can spot issues early.
3) Export
DOCX is generated for editing in Word. PDF export is available for printing/sharing.
What we support (and what we don’t)
We focus on the formats that appear most often in AI outputs for math, physics, and chemistry. Some “layout LaTeX” (worksheets/tables) does not export reliably to Word/PDF and may be flagged.
Supported
- Inline and display equations:
$...$,$$...$$,\(...\),\[...\] - Fractions, roots, exponents/subscripts, arrows, Greek letters
- Common chemistry/isotope patterns copied from ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini
See examples: Troubleshooting guide.
Not reliable
Worksheet-style layouts using LaTeX tables/arrays (for example \begin{array} + \hline) are presentation formats, not equations.
If you need that exact layout, export the text first, then rebuild the table layout directly in Word.
Tip for best results
Ask the AI to output “Markdown + LaTeX”. Keep headings on their own line and avoid mixing table layouts with equations.

We aim for a simple, privacy-aware workflow and clear policies.
- DOCX conversion runs in your browser.
- PDF export is rendered server-side (Chromium) for accurate math layout.
